Back in the day darkrooms were common place. Obviously that is not the case anymore. But what is often said about a printed image emerging in the developer tray is absolutely true. It is magic. What it takes to master the craft of making quality images on silver gelatin paper is about the same as what it takes to master Photoshop. It is a matter of time and effort.
